"Conversation 16" was released as the fourth and final single from High Violet in early 2011, also receiving a video. Lyrically, the song is about marital turmoil and it was originally called "Romantic Comedy" (Matt's wife told him to change it because it sounded tryhard). The lyrics are apparently "65% autobiographical" and describe various mundane activities of suburban life (conversations are so predictable they can be numbered) along with more eccentric lines about zombies. Best bit: The eerie backing vocals. Best lyrics: "Now we'll leave the silver city cause all the silver girls / Gave us black dreams"
