To be fair, Ryan's never pulled a bait-and-switch with any horror story leads. Vivien (or Ben, whichever you prefer), Lana, Cordelia, and Bette/Dot are all episode 1 levels of obvious
I still think you can't compare AHS to Scream Queens, because AHS stops at the end of 13 episodes. Characters don't move on to the next season. Scream Queens is different.
Also, mess @ how often we argue & disagree with this yet we're still friends.
That doesn't make sense to me, because he said the clue would BE there for us. He's not going to HIDE the clue if we're meant to make a connection to it when we learn who the killer is.
Also, I love Chad, like I said, but I don't really see ANY of the men surviving the season. But I think there's just as much potential growth with all of the characters; I understand that Chad had some redeemable qualities in the first two episodes while Chanel didn't, but the cast has spent the entire time in interviews telling us everything's a twist and nothing is expected, so I don't think it's fair to rule out Chanel so quickly just because she hasn't shown a glimmer of being likable yet; we're two episodes in out of fifteen. But still, I hope anything that makes her more "conventionally likable" doesn't mean she becomes a good girl (but we've discussed this before).
But mess, sis. We need to talk about your use of "This 100% confirms"/"This 100% rules out"/"This guarantees"/etc. It's all speculation until now. We have no idea what Ryan's logic is. And these deaths are a mess. So far, the only people who have died are GOOD guys, and the one person who wasn't completely a good guy
came back
.
They've cut out scenes in whodunnit movies because they thought it made the killer too obvious clue-wise, it makes sense Ryan would do the same here. The entire thing I'm saying is "Ryan didn't want the clue to be there for us to use"
Disagreed on zero men surviving, I'm pretty sure one is going to. It'd be almost TOO disproportionate for every single male character to die and four girls to live. As for Chanel, the main reason I think she's dead now is because she's the killer. And I think I even said that if she starts redeeming herself she probably lives.
Well, I'm about 100% sure that Chanel #2 isn't the killer But yeah, I do get your point.

Coven was meant to have a spinoff and Delia is blander than Grace
To be fair, disagreeing doesn't mean we can't be friends with each other

I guess that's a fair point, but Ryan's been talking about the fact that there's a clue (or at least a line) in the pilot that makes sense at the very end when we learn who the killer is. I don't think "I know it's you Chanel" is that, nor do I think that that would be the hint if he's trying to hide it when we're meant to see it.
Like I said, I have no idea who survives. But I don't see many men surviving. The show is centered around the women, so it would make sense for four female survivors. Ideally, my own top candidates of who I want to survive are Chanel, Hester, Cathy, and then Chad, Gigi, Zayday and Chanel #3 fighting for the fourth spot. As the season goes on I'll probably change my opinion a little bit on that.
But I guess you're right with that. I just think the rest of this is pretty arguable.

I do see your point. Maybe it's Zayday saying Chanel is her #1 suspect?
I legitimately think Zayday is kinda destined to live. The rest are up in air, I just think Chad is looking MORE likely. I don't think he's guaranteed. I do think #3 and #5 are really, really, really dead though
Thus why I'm kinda thinking 1 man and 3 women. That way Ryan can avoid the criticism of COven ("The only way you can empower women is to completely take men out of the equation!") while keeping the female focus.
Denise is highly unlikely too, there's no motive and she wouldn't make any sense (RE: Freaking @ Chantal on her own)

You dont know that and the fact she was killed first without witness gives her motive.

This IS the Coven spinoff. Ryan said he did this as opposed to that, and then made Chanel as Madison 2.0. But then he changed his story and said he made this as an homage to JLC and wouldn't do the show without her.
I was positive it was a song they composed for the show itself. It's kinda tacky, but I live for it. Giving me 1990's Barbie Dreamhouse Themesong realness.

I feel like you're only searching for clues that validate your Chanel theory, girl.
I'm pretty certain we'll all be sure it's someone else next week, and then someone entirely different the week after. The actors themselves didn't know as recently as last time they talked about filming, saying they were totally sure they had it figured out and then it changed completely.
We might be the same. Don't place your bets just yet!

But Delia > Grace
Grace > DDelia. Her being an undercover anti-Greek journalist thing is slightly more engaging than anything about Delia IMO Delia is literally every bland final girl stereotype in one

This is Ryan, so they probably did and then he changed it to say they didn't

I keep rewatchign in an attempt to find something pretty obvious, but I have no clue.
But I guess you have a fair point with that. In which case, if I had to have a man surviving, I'd say the four are Chanel, Hester, Cathy & Chad.
I also kind of ruled Denise out, both as a survivor and the killer, a while ago.
