I think this will be the first year ending in 5 since naming began that there won't be a major/significant hurricane or storm strike on the US coastline that resulted in a retired name.

1975: Eloise
1985: Elena and Gloria
1995: Opal
2005: Dennis, Katrina, Rita and Wilma

If we do get any significant type of storm, it will probably be affecting some country outside the US.

Anything can happen this season. It only takes one storm to pull an Andrew and the season makes history

2012 was a fun season for me.

Michael was awesome. I love how it was given a 10-20% chance of development right up until it formed, and then it became a major hurricane.

Wow, just went through the pages on this thread and it's so cool that so many are interested in meteorology. I am studying it and it's awesome. Only flop weather in this city though. I want thunderstorms.
