Just watched asylum in 2 days loved it. I loved the scene where lana's leaving in the cab and gives threadson the finger while showing him the recording I also loved how they wrapped up Jude's story, it was so sweet. She finally found the peace she was looking for

"It's going to be really insane. In some ways, it's returning to the classic horror genre like the first season. Freak Show was more outside and sprawling, this is more tight and scary. The sex and the blood are really amped up too and outdoing themselves," Wittrock, 30, told PEOPLE at the 67th Emmy Award Performers Nominee Reception in Los Angeles this weekend.

Wittrock has already starred on AHS, but he says Hotel has him doing things he never expected. "There's a little homoerotica. My character's not gay, but he does what he's got to do to get by. That entails a few things. There's also a few intimate moments with The Lady herself which has been a lot of fun," revealed Wittrock, whose character will engage in a love triangle with Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer.

Though Gaga just joined the franchise this season, Wittrock says she brought her A game.

"She's the real deal," he said. "Everyone's like, 'God, she's so approachable, like I can just go up to her and talk.' She's taking it very seriously as an actor. I think people are going to be very impressed."

Are we getting a character poster this year?

Also does anyone watch this show with their entire family? Because I do, and it sounds like Gaga is going to be having sex a lot. They've never shown more than an ass. But watching this with my family, on top of the fact that I want my family to like Gaga, is going to make this viewing experience wildly scary, and exciting.

When Ryan says lots of nudity, I'm guessing it'll only be ass, which is ok. But even when Denis' character from last year had a huge penis, and I thought he was going to show it at one point, I felt so uncomfortable, with my entire family sitting around watching.

Honestly now that it's so close, I don't know that I'm ready for it. It came so fast

I think a whole season based in a remote location, that has to do with pure survival, or having a stranded plot so to speak, would be amazing. Every season is based around a huge location, and I love that, but what if it wasn't confined to a building? Sort of like an Open Water or The Canyon type setting, with other plots mixed in.

Would be quite a change for the series.
