We just got our first glimpse at the Addiction Demon this week. Where do you think he ranks with Twisty, and Bloodyface, and some of the show’s most ghastly creations?
Wittrock: Well, I don’t know how he ranks next to Twisty. I think he’s more of a metaphor for addiction itself, which is a more insidious demon

Does it scare you?
Wittrock: Yes. Yeah. I think the idea of Addiction is that it’s inside us, that’s what’s scary, is that it’s an outside force. It’s something that’s already within us, and threatens to take us over.

It sounds like you’re maybe dealing with some more serious themes this year, is that fair to say?
Wittrock: Yeah, this season is heavy. It’s bloodier and sexier, and also claustrophobic in a scary way. Last year was so much outside stuff, with the tents, and the sprawling… this year it’s so many interiors, and the hotel is taking on a life of its own. So it’s scary to be stuck inside, you know?

[...]but there is actually a purpose behind us looking similar. There is a story point in that. It’s a bit under the surface, but it’s not a total accident.
It's probably because they all look similar to someone The Countess was in love with/related to, thus why she targets them. She probably turned Donovan or had Sally lure him to her, she turns Tristan, she kidnaps John's son and she definitely has her eyes set on Will once he visits the Hotel.
STAIRWAY TO HELL
“Every year in the main big set we have a staircase,” explains Worthington. “Ryan [Murphy] loves a staircase, and so do I. So the genesis of any staircase has to do with avoiding what has been done in the past.” The staircase also had to allow room for the elevator, which will serve as a key location for much of Hotel’s action.

what do you think should be the theme of AHS season 6?
Not really what I want, but what I think. People have been wanting an Alien season for awhile now, I think a full blown sci-fi season would work well; Asylum touched on it, but it would be interesting to see them really go out there and not be grounded in realism so much.
It's either Aliens or Cults, though that's what I said before Hotel was announced and we got ****ing vampires.

American Horror Story: Tour Bus
Lady Gaga plays a struggling lead singer of a band. Once the queen of rock; Gaga and her band have fallen into irrelevancy. She still has a loyal cult of followers, which allows her to tour small arenas. However after the strange events of a concert in Arizona the band encounters eerie characters and danger as they travel through the desert.
"When a series of grisly and ritualistic murders strike NYC, SSA Evelyn Mercer (Angela Bassett) and her partner Dorian Walker (Matt Bomer) are called to investigate the crime spree. Puzzled by the crimes, the FBI bring in a journalist named Phoebe Gale (Lily Rabe), who witnessed a murder firsthand. She reveals to them her suspicions of the true killers; The Vane Family. Led by Ravenna Vane (Famke Janssen), the Clan also includes Aurora Vane (Sarah Paulson), her brother Damon Vane (Finn Wittrock), as well as their great-aunt Minerva (Frances Conroy). Unbeknownst to the authorities though, this Clan of Night Club owners are actually a cult of Cannibals who prey on the citizens of New York. But they aren't the only horrors in the Big Apple, and anyone could be the next to be slaughtered."
I know I'm jumping the gun - and the good thing about this show is you can do one season and then not be tied to it - but assuming Gaga got good reviews and Ryan likes her performance enough, there's a possible chance she'd do future seasons/shows. I'm intrigued to see what else this brings her, if anything of course.
