Lady GaGa was the most Tweeted about person at BOTH the 2015 Academy Awards as well as the 2015 Emmy awards. Twitter is arguably the most popular social networking platform, with approximately 302 million active users as of May 2015.
What might be the most notable part, though, is that the Academy Awards is an annual American awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the film industry, and the Emmys recognizes excellence in the television industry.
Why do you think this is? *Also, this is not a trolling thread. When you consider the facts pointed out in this post, it is quite a remarkable feat for GaGa after 2+ years of suffering from much criticism and being labelled as "over" both on and, especially, off of ATRL. So please reply to the OP accordingly (aka not "because she's the queen of pop! ").
ATRL exaggerates everything. Your average person in the GP didn't know ARTPOP underperformed. They just heard a couple new Gaga songs on the radio and that was it.
