Shut up and Drive: I barely listen to this song, so, yeah, the song isn't a good follow up after the monster smash single, Umbrella.
Rockstar 101: I was rooting for this song, but it failed so miserably to have an impact. Although I think most of us agree that Rih kills this song live, and I think this makes up for the song being a huge flop.
You da One: We got here the same thing that did happen with Shut up and drive, but at that time they released it too soon, and We Found Love overshadowed the poor song.
Pour It Up: One of my least favorite songs off UNA.
Right Now: MEH!
American Oxygen: I still think this song should have been a promo for that March Madness thing and not a single. Amazing song tho.

The first Rihanna video i've ever seen was Only Girl, back in 2010.
I think it was on the front page of YT and i just clicked it.

After watching it i thought she was one of those artists like Keysha Cole and Ciara, so i just kept it moving.
Didn't really pay attention to her until fall of 2011.

Back then i heard her hits everywhere but i wasn't aware that it was her.

I wasn't into pop music like that and i didn't really pay attention to artists.

2007 was the year I got into pop music, so I wasn't really here for anything too urban at the time, which is what I felt Umbrella was. Also, SUAD was a pop rock song, so my ten-year-old self felt like I was being diverse and stuff by listening to it.
