You know what the real issue is? Everyone's gotta have a ****ing role. Ryan says this year is an ensemble cast, but that's been every year since season 2. He needs to not try to include everyone and their grandmother in it. It's okay if Evan/Sarah/Kathy/Angela/etc doesnt have a role for a season, tell good stories, we have good cast members so the performance is going to be good regardless of who sits out.
So true, it's like he builds the characters/story around the cast, not the other way around. Which is why we get a ton of pointless characters last season.
I just watched the first episodes of the second season of this and I have one word: evil.
HOW is this entertaining? Doesn't something tell you guys that this is demented? People aren't supposed to sit back and watch this happen, even if it's on TV and performed by actors!!! It's sick and twisted—this show and all other shows like it need to stop. Like, now. How is it enjoyable to watch people get beaten? Or to watch them get abducted and beaten senseless? Maybe, you argue, there's some sort of "happy ending," but that doesn't make up for all the evil things that lead up to that.
I used to look up to Gaga—she saved me more than once. But I have no more respect for her for joining a show that is so evil in nature. I'm really hoping that at least one of you understands what I'm saying because, if you don't, that will be when I know that humanity is almost completely dead. Before you go to sleep, ask yourself why you enjoy a show that revolves around evil—excorcisms, murder, torture, abuse, and everything else. Do you really promote all of that? Or are you going to stand by and watch in happiness and thrill as one actor rapes another?
