Lord. So I'm watching my first season of this show (Coven to be exact) and I just finished episode 9 (Head) and the ending literally had me crying so much

But that's not the point. If Hotel is being set up in the current days, space and time, why the hell do all the characters look so halloween-ish? Why does Sarah looks like a hooker from the 80s, Angela looks like a disco diva and Finn looks like 2009 Adam Lambert?
I would wish they looked kinda like normal people, it would feel more realistic.
Gaga is serving Cheek to Cheek in one scene and suddenly it feels like Born This Way in the next one.

Honestly, I feel like we've lost a lot of realism from the show since Murder House, which besides the ghost story is probably the most realistic of all seasons. The characters do look odd, and not in the same time period either. I agree, but I'm not tripping either, I can't say I care much. I'm excited to see how it all plays out.

Yes, MH has a certain real world grittiness to it that the follow-up seasons lack.

I wouldn't put it like that. The other seasons felt real to me BUT when you make a season that is being set up through the current days, you just can't dress like all of those characters are dressing without getting beaten up on the street, unless it's Halloween. I haven't seen one character that looks normal.
They all look fierce and edgy but it looks like stage ensembles.

I just watched the first episodes of the second season of this and I have one word: evil.
HOW is this entertaining? Doesn't something tell you guys that this is demented? People aren't supposed to sit back and watch this happen, even if it's on TV and performed by actors!!! It's sick and twisted—this show and all other shows like it need to stop. Like, now. How is it enjoyable to watch people get beaten? Or to watch them get abducted and beaten senseless? Maybe, you argue, there's some sort of "happy ending," but that doesn't make up for all the evil things that lead up to that.
I used to look up to Gaga—she saved me more than once. But I have no more respect for her for joining a show that is so evil in nature. I'm really hoping that at least one of you understands what I'm saying because, if you don't, that will be when I know that humanity is almost completely dead. Before you go to sleep, ask yourself why you enjoy a show that revolves around evil—excorcisms, murder, torture, abuse, and everything else. Do you really promote all of that? Or are you going to stand by and watch in happiness and thrill as one actor rapes another?

Sally is likely infected with the virus too, and I take it they dont age if they're infected, so she likely got infected in the 80's (hence the hairstyle), as for Ramona (she's a movie star, and clearly a diva). And Tristan is a model in downtown Los Angeles thats addicted to drugs, he looks pretty normal considering......
And if Gaga is truly immortal or been alive for awhile, of course she's going to have numerous styles, especially for different occasions.

You know what the real issue is? Everyone's gotta have a ****ing role. Ryan says this year is an ensemble cast, but that's been every year since season 2. He needs to not try to include everyone and their grandmother in it. It's okay if Evan/Sarah/Kathy/Angela/etc doesnt have a role for a season, tell good stories, we have good cast members so the performance is going to be good regardless of who sits out.
