Anyway, I really like Superpower and Era's portfolio's presentation.
ImprovementsAs for the improvements, I really like A Bomb's entry overall; the presentation and the actual idea is great, we need more interaction between mods and members.
Not a fan of having a chat system, we have Random Thoughts, plug.dj etc. and it just seems like it would become a complete mess. There was actually a thread about that not too long ago and pretty much everyone agreed it'd be a mess. I'm sure a lot of people would love it though, it'd be a "crowd pleaser" addition, but might not necessarily benefit the site.
I like Superpower's idea but I don't really think that it'd be much of an improvement, but that might just be because I don't have any language barrier issues myself so that might be a selfish opinion. I've popped into the Australian Talk thread and I actually prefer having a separate section where I can discuss things pertaining to my country, and I'd imagine it'd be similar for those members from non-English speaking countries, more so than just a place to speak their mother tongue.
I like Era's idea but it seems more like a convenience than an improvement. ATRL members are already doing these things, just not through ATRL itself. It's probably not a feature I'd use a lot, and if music listened to through ATRL wouldn't scrobble to last.fm (this is a big thing for a lot of ATRL users) then it might not have mass appeal. Otherwise it would be nice to listen to songs and easily share songs through ATRL and really put the focus back on the music.
Jake's idea is cute too, but again I don't really see it as an improvement to the site, it's just a new addition that some members might pay attention to for five seconds, like YTT or the Birthday's thread.

" or "." responses. Regardless the rep system is only 50% of my entry. The other part is the addition of a new rule which stops co-signing. The rep system would just be an answer to those who refused to pay attention to the rules and continued to co-sign.
