Ok, most of you don't realize these songs that are being posted are growers. Like Boom Boom Pow, I hated it at first listen. I hated it after the 5th listen. Still at the 10th listen. Eventually, with each listen, it became less annoying to me and I started to rock my head a bit to it. By the 30th play, I was up and dancing my ass off to the song.

Good for you. I still think it's the most insipid piece of garbage I've heard this year, and I've heard this song about as much as you have. They don't even TRY to make the song good, it just is what it is. Naturally, it's the biggest song of 2009.

I think the reason why most of you are posting "One Time," is because he's 14? and he has a high pitched vocal range. It brings you back to the Dreamstreet days right? I guess people, mostly males, don't like high pitched whiney voices, BUT, a big BUT, Justin Bieber's song is fresh and catchy as hell. You have to look beyond his girly voice and take the song for what it is.
One Time is definetely in the Top 10 best songs of 2009. I'd rather hear that than the recycled hits, "Already Gone," and "Halo," where the beats are basically the same.

LFRRRRRRRRR.
Dude, stop it. You're trying to defend and get me to like a song that, clearly, was not meant to be digested by someone such as myself. The Dreamstreet comparison doesn't make sense, either, because it's not an onslaught of young boys yelling into your ears. It's just one guy.

And besides, I really dislike the song because of both its lyrics and the general sound of the song, not necessarily because of his voice.
And besides, Eddie made a really good point for me. The worst crime this song has made is that it is as generic as apple pie.
