OMG FINALLY. We have gotten rid of that completely hated PM and now we have one that seems to actually care about this country and isn't someone completely devoid of decency.

Hello lovely Australian people! I need some help. I'm applying to University of Melbourne for next year and I'm just wondering which semester gets more people in Australia? Most universities worldwide only accept grad students once a year (August-September), but Aussie unis seem to accept both in January and August. DO you guys apply normally to start on January, or is it more common to apply to start in August? Thank you!

January is the start of the schooling year for us, so more people start the year then
This has completely changed my plans. I don't know what to do. Maybe I have better chances of getting in in August? But then again, I want to live the experience with more people. Choices.
Does anyone here attend Macqaurie University in Sydney?
I do!

I think they take more people in in January so I think you have equal chance applying for either semester. If it matters some units you may have to do have like a part 1 and 2 over two semesters starting in first semester (January). Check the degree schedule if this impacts when you should apply
