OH MY GOD. I'm so excited. i got tickets in front of the heart. it is a nice view?
some people are saying that most of the show is in the middle of the catwalk. i dont wanna see videos til i see her
The best spot Inwould say for a one time show is definitely at the cross but on the other side towards the Heart Stage. I was two rows on the other side and I was looking at her back while my friend (the one from Fort Lauderdale) was directly opposite of me and had an amazing full view.
I posted my review of the DC show in another forum, so I'll just copy it here. In summation, it was ****ing great and anyone who thinks otherwise has obviously not seen it live
I'm finally home and have some time to write my impressions of the show.
Let me just start by saying that any negative judgment any one makes based solely on pictures and low quality videos are so WRONG! The show was absolutely amazing! I honestly think that of the 3 tours I've attended (S&S, MDNA, and now RH) this has been the most fun one yet. MDNA will always be special to me because I got to see her up close in the Golden Triangle and the show itself was mind-blowing, but I think RH is slightly better (to my taste).
I was in section 6, to the right of the tip of the heart, and I had an excellent view for most of the show. However, when she was at the main stage (which was ~40% of the time) it was a bit far, although that's may also be because I'm pretty short and always struggle to get a good view at concerts (I'm 5'2). I'm sure that the show is a blast no matter where one sits, and I have no complaints about the people that were around me during the show. Everyone around me was dancing and singing, which made the experience even more fun. I must say, the D.C. crowd >>> Houston crowds
The set list makes so much sense live, and I think that one of the biggest strengths of the tour is that her "oldies-but'goodies" are placed perfectly. The crowd ate up every one of her older hits and she seemed so freaking happy throughout the whole thing! The first section is the darkest, and although it was visually stunning (wow at the entire Holy Water sequence), I felt that all of the other sections were more engaging, probably because she was so interactive with the crowd, and the performances were all around very light-hearted. She was so hilarious and just plain cute!
I've read comments of people criticizing the ITG/Everybody/Lucky Star medley stating that it brings down the energy of the show, and it may be because it was performed by the heart so I had a great view of it, but I couldn't disagree more. Everyone was dancing and singing along, it was one of the highlights of the show!
I was also pleasantly surprised by Candy Shop, it just worked so well right after Music.
I don't know if this also happened at her Canada shows but after she sang La Vie en Rose, she asked one of her dancers for a light, at which point a lot of people around the arena pulled out their phones, pointing the flash lights at the stage. It was pretty cool and you can see it in this video I shot from last night (starts @1:21)
Oh and as a side note, I saw Heather chatting away with one of the venue's security guy's before the show. She had the cape that went along with the Dancing Queen outfit too! And if I remember correctly her seat was right in front of the heart so that probably made her more visible to whomever it is that choses the fan that goes up to dance with Madonna. Here's a pic I snapped of her before the show.
Overall, AMAZING show! I'm still reeling from it all. Everyone was raving about it afterwards too. I noticed that casual fans were particularly impressed. Going in I was slightly disappointed that she doesn't sing Inside Out, but that was quickly forgotten with how amazing the HC/LDLA, LAV, True Blue, and D&D performances were. I wish I could see her again :/
These are a couple of pics from my view last night
in europe she has a lot of younger fans. I've seen that from all those years of queueing to her show but i guess for america her biggest hit is Music and maybe 4 minutes while for europe, while they've always been very critical, everyone also kept her so very relevant. flop or no flop, you are always gonna hear from her here
This.
I repeat, "Joan of Arc" was played on German radio, on a main station.
Do people in London stand up? I'll go to the first London date and I have a seating ticket on the side and I worry people won't stand up
Luckily I have another ticket (standing) for Zurich and we can choose where to stand I'll either go for the cross or the heart, I'll decide after the London show.
I gave in and watched many vids the show looks fantastic now. I'm sure it's a blast live!

This; we can choose where to stand here in Europe, don't get why there were chairs in the middle for the US.
I will probably end up too late at the entrance ot make it early near the stage tho but at least I can experience M while bawpping to Holy Water and the cheerful Dress You Up performance
On ‘Rebel Heart’ tour stop, Madonna doesn’t miss a beat
By Chris Kelly
September 13
A Madonna concert in 2015 raises a host of questions: Is new album “Rebel Heart” any good? Amid the Beyonces, Taylors, Mileys and Gagas, where is Madonna’s place in pop music? After three decades in the spotlight, does Madonna still have it?
The moment Madonna’s show started Saturday night at the Verizon Center, those questions and more went out the window, a defenestration the Catholicism-obsessed queen of pop would appreciate. Surrounded by a phalanx of centurions (her dancers in their first get-up) and backed by a full band and three monstrous screens, Madonna descended from above in a cage and sang the first of the night’s many self-affirming songs, “Iconic.” “I’m starting a revolution,” she told the crowd. “Are you with me?”
For the capacity crowd, the answer was a resounding yes, even if the question is a bit dubious. Although “Rebel Heart” grabs at current pop sounds with both hands — a Diplo beat here, a Nicki Minaj verse there — the album feels anything but revolutionary. That didn’t seem to matter for her fans, the ones who grew up on her ’80s and ’90s hits, the ones dressed as bulls and matadors or “Like a Virgins” and “Material Girls.” Madonna has no illusions about the age of her audience, teasing an eager fan, “I remember you, baby — you’ve been following me around for three decades.”
The concert seemed crafted to blow away those fans, ones who have seen her dazzling live shows before. Her latest show is an astonishing spectacle that draws from Cirque du Soleil, “300,” the Chinese New Year, “Grease” and — as always — Catholic imagery. After all these years, religion remains Madonna’s hottest button, and she continues to find new ways to make blasphemy sexy. Re-creating the Last Supper as a bacchanalia? Dancers clad in lingerie and nuns’ habits, using crucifixes to pole dance? It may be harder to shock and titillate in 2015, but that hasn’t stopped Madonna from trying.
“Rebel Heart” dominated the set list, but Madonna wasn’t afraid to try new things with old favorites. “Into the Groove” and “Lucky Star” were recast as Latin pop in a medley of catalogue classics, and she strapped on a Flying V guitar for “Burning Up” and traded it in for a ukulele for “True Blue” and a cover of Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose.” The latter she dedicated to President Obama, whom she said didn’t accept her invitation: “Maybe I’m too provocative.”
After her latest of countless reinventions, Madonna is as provocative as ever. But she’s also reflective, using her concert not just to celebrate “Rebel Heart” Madonna but also all of her incarnations — so many that she’s started to lose track. “I don’t really know who I am,” she confessed near the end of the show. “But bitch, I’m Madonna.”

I had the exact same experience I was also on section 6 but closer to the stage
Everyone on the metro was raving about the show! Big difference with the MDNA tour everyone was DRAGGING her on the metro for coming out so late (almost 11:00pm)
