It hasn't really been climbing non-stop though. As it has risen steadily up pop radio, it has stayed mostly in the 20s over the last month.
I honestly don't think it will sell any more than 3M, and that's an EXTREMELY optimistic prediction if you ask me. It's probably got between 2 or 3 months before its peak, or 8 to 12 weeks. Let's go down the middle and say it peaks in 10 weeks, right before the beginning of December. For it to sell 3M in total, it'll probably have to sell at least 1.5M before its peak (it can sell the remaining 700k after its peak). That means it'll have to sell, on average, 150k a week (which no song is doing right now) over the next 10 weeks.
Honestly I think it ends up selling around 1.5-1.8M. It is free to surprise me though, I love the song.
