There are gay liberals too. And many women are liberals. Which although it is logical in a sense also leads to them being very welcoming to people whose culture and/or religion dictates that they must hate LGBT people and consider women as always being under the thumb of men.
While I do think we can integrate a few thousand a year, I'm far more perplex when numbers rise to several hundred thousand a year. And it is made worse by the fact that they are generally put in ghettos and thus strengthen each other's religious and cultural beliefs instead of opening themselves to those of the west.
It's probably very extremist but in the long run the only solution will probably be for society do decide that religions that advocate women/LGBTs being inferior to straight men should not be promoted or tolerated. That means that Islam and Christianity in their current form will no longer be given a pass just because they're old or because billions of people follow them. Either they change or society will ban them.
