I've been on suicide watch.
I'm still shocked & confused & most of all just really sad for her. But at the same time losing to Vinci with Pennetta awaiting in the F is such a cackle, I can barely even be mad.
She's at #18 with 2216 points. I've never seen someone come from that far back this late in the season and qualify. But Pennetta just jumped from 36 to 6 so anything's possible I guess.
She'd have to win or make the final in Beijing and do some vulturing but she hasn't vultured any small events so far this year so I don't expect her to start now.
Extremely unlikely. She'd have to win titles (something she hasn't done for over two years) or make multiple finals (something she's done only once since Brisbane 2014) while the plethora of people above her continually flop

Yeah but the big difference this year is how close everyone is. I hope she makes it!

In my humble opinion, Serena and Maria's careers are done. They'll win a cute title like Rome and Madrid here and there, but as for GS, they won't fare much better than the Ivanovic's and Bouchard's are right now.
