Plus I'm sure there were pre-Vevo versions of the video on Youtube. And the SL video was uploaded less than a year after it hit #1, whereas BOMT was 10 years later.

i can't at you comparing a song released one year before vevo and a song released 10 years before vevo, ofc single ladies has more views due the success in that year, it still was big when vevo was released, like other big songs in that time, bomt didnt need any stream or airplay to become successful. and please don't act like parodies didn't help. don't forget why wrecking ball went #1. bomt didnt need anything like that, and it is more remembered cause you just thought of it while making the thread. im sure when single ladies will be 16 years old, you wont think of making a thread about it. end of discussion.

Crazy in Love also has more views than BOMT and it came out well before the rise of YouTube. The Britney song isn't as remembered as atrl would like to think.

Along with the fact that sl was only able to be viewed in the US and blocked everywhere else till The 4 era. And still Baby is behind.
They need to accept that no one cares for Baby in present day.
