Kinda, that day I was sick and I was watching Dragon Ball Z on Globo (a channel here in Brazil) and when Goku was just about to trasform into SSJ3 the program was interrupted to warn that something had hit the world trade center, i was like 7
Yeah I was 7th or 8th grade and I was in school when it happened, choir class to be exact. My choir instructor rolled the tv in so we could watch the news footage and that's all we did for the whole rest of the class. A girl in my class started freaking out because her dad had a flight out to New York that day so she was crying and they let her go to the principal's office to try and call and get a hold of him. When I got home, me and my dad watched more of the news footage then we went to get chinese food.
Yeah I was 11 and at school. We were watching the movie Rush Hour when my teacher turned it off to tell us about what happened to the towers.
I had no idea what the World Trade Center was, so I was just pressed that she shut off the movie I didn't realize how serious it was until I got home.
I'm sorry for the question but how didn't Osama bin laden die when he crashed into the tower
Are you serious
I remember it quite clearly, even tho I was 9 and living very far from it. I remember my aunt barging into my room telling me and my cousin to turn on the TV to watch the towers collapsing. I thought she was joking at first.
It's not like America's an irrelevant country sis I'm Scottish and I don't remember it but 9/11 was obviously a huge deal, there's documentaries on TV about it all the time
"Irrelevant country"
As if people should only remember deaths if it happens in the USA
I was 6 and 7 and not living in the USA but I remember it very clearly.
I was home that day and I remember seeing the footage of the first tower burning, the second attack, the towers falling...I remember being so shocked that something like that was happening even if I didn't really understand why.
My 8th grade English teacher briefly mentioned the situation after she was called out to the hallway to be told what was going on and then we went right back to Tom Sawyer. No one could focus and I was distracted all day.
Well I asked my dad what he and my mom did when it happened and he told me that the the school called all parents to pick up their kids (and we lived in Chile back then)
Crazy what a huge effect this had on other countries
Yeah. I was 15 and in 10th grade. I was supposed to be moving back to NJ but my dad wouldn't let me leave.
I was in AP Psychology when it happened. I freaked out and was super worried bc I have family in NY and thought my family in NJ would be next. It was a traumatizing day.
