Yes, that's exactly how I feel! I thought that I suddenly liked it today, but it's not that. It's just that I can't stop listening to it because of how much I've missed P!nk. I will be listening to it for the next two weeks, I suppose, and then not at all. I like it in the same way I like The king is dead but the queen is alive. No one is listening to that song anymore.
So Today's the day can make the waiting for the new album a little easier, but not for long.

What happened with R8? She flopped with those singles and now she is not releasing the album? Is it the same with Britney and Fergie?

I think P!nk however stays true to her recipe. 1st single then 2nd single released almost at the same time as the album. We'll have to wait and see though. I don't like that there is no info and that she has been so quiet this time.

All I know is that the Navy has been waiting forever for #R8 and Rih has been on her 3rd single since then. Britney clearly released 'Pretty Girls' to get herself in talks again. Also her appearance at the VMAs was just so random. As for Fergie (and Gwen) I guess there was just not enough hype so they gave up on releasing an album.

Well P!nk doesn't seem to be the type for that and Roger wouldn't let her walk the same path. It was just an idea but I'm still concerned.

Well... FourFiveSeconds did better than eg. Blow Me both US and WW wise while BBHMM smashed on urban and in some European countries as well. She could've easily released the album but she's been to lazy.

OT: Why do you guys think new era is coming? I'm almost sure we won't hear anything new from her in a while. After the TtD promo will end of course (if there will be any apart from Ellen).

I have to say, now that I've heard the song in full, it's different for P!nk because it's not personal like most of her other material; it's just fun. But I don't mind it because it's REALLY catchy. Even before I heard the song in full, I had the chorus stuck in my head all day today. It's a very catchy and fun pop song, and I like it, but I'm glad that it's nothing more than a TV show theme song. I still wouldn't be surprised to see her put it on the deluxe edition of her next album, though. I'm disappointed she didn't even mention the new album, though; it probably would have been the first thing she was asked about if it wasn't for the VMA controversy interfering with that.
