Taylor Swift's self-titled debut. I'm not from the US where its success was restricted to but it sold loads without any hits, and without her even being big as a celebrity at all.

Prism by Katy Perry (if it was that huge). I mean, same story as Teenage Dream, if we take singles, musically... should we move on to something new?

Self-titled by Beyonce. Like, the only thing people remember now is that the album was released unexpectedly, praised by critics heavily and sold much in first weeks. what about the music?.. nothing. that's the problem with all those latest "unexpected" quick album campaigns aimed to gain money in a short time. (I personally like "Beyonce" tho, but I'm not sure anyone remembered the music except - non-musical - extracts like "surfboard" and "i woke up like this", but leave it to pop social media users)

The radios in my area here in Germany didn't play TD's singles after "Firework" for some reason so I was unaware of Katy's slayage during that era.
For example PRISM felt MUCH bigger here. Radios even played album tracks and even "Unconditionally" felt as big and popular as "Teengae Dream" (the song).

BTW wasn't very big here, she had a rabid fanbase and little else.

OOTB was pretty big but she had no recognisability.

Roman Reloaded had hits but very little impact, apart from BITT really, which wasn't even a thing here.

Femme Fatale, most people aren't aware it existed here.

TTT, most people here though WFL was from Loud and that WHYB was the lead of Unapologetic.

Talk That Talk was pretty huge and had huge hits like WFL and WHYB, but it didn't felt that huge.

The same with RED. It was Taylor's best album and had multiple hits, but I guess its overshadowed by her current success.

BTW was pretty big too, but because of Gaga's decline it seemed like a complete flop. It was an impressive era though!

Most huge eras don't really feel huge unless you're actively paying attention to the charts and sales.

The only big pop era from the last ten years that actually felt as big as it was to me is The Fame, and that's largely because Gaga's cultural ubiquity and status as a celebrity matched her album and single sales.
