Germany can accomodate in my opinion up to 90 million inhabitants without completely crashing. In our history, the ma population we ever had was around 85 million and GER functioned wonderfully. Today we have around 81 million inhabitants.
Our economy needs a workforce of around 40-45 million people. The workforce in GER is actually shrinking in the long run, so the more migrants that come, the better for us.
Germany is very efficient in all kinds of aspects. So if those people that seek asylum and that want to stay here want to work, they can do language courses of which I am sure, Germany will provide many in the future. But in Germany you can also get along well with English. Since English and German are related languages and very much alike (bc English derived from German) it will be easy to switch back and forth.
Germany is much more a country of opprtunity today imo than the United States. I think that's the appeal
