She's talking about positive body image, yet the girl obviously hates her true self so much she feels the need to imitate Jenna Marbles? What a vile human being.
She actually wasn't lying. Obviously the things she said aren't directed at people with medical conditions, it's for people who can lose weight but are too lazy.
The way she represented herself may block some people from understanding her because it was controversial, but she has valid points.
Lying or not, it's not her place to say anything about it.
Not her life... not her issue... Move on.
That's like being anti-gay or anti-anything that you don't like. The gay community dragged the straights that said we were infringing on their lifestyle. Well, this is the same thing. And yet, so many gays agree with her. Disgusting and hypocritical.

She's against obesity because it is unhealthy and can kill people, so she's talking about how people are saying that obesity is okay which is wrong.
How can you compare that to being gay? Homosexuality does not harm your health as a human being and it's not a choice, whereas obesity is.

Still not her or your place.
She compares it herself, actually. She compares it to race as well.
There is actually a way to talk about things without being a condescending bitch about it. A technique that she seems to lack or forget for the sake of views and .03 seconds of fame that has already been swept away.

It was her opinion and she's free to express her thoughts so yeah, it is anyone's place to talk about the issue.
She compares fat shaming (which is different) to different kinds of discrimination types like race and etc.
Yeah, her approach may be controversial even though what she said is true, but she's a comedian and that's very common in comedy. If she was ignorant and wrong it would be different but she does have really good points.

Get out of here with that "Freedom of Speech" BS. I'll see you in the next thread someone says gays should go to hell and see what you've got to say there
You can talk about it but it doesn't make you any more right or a better person in any regard.
I'm just gonna swerve on what you said about her comparing things and backtracking immediately from it in those quotations.
1. Being a comedian doesn't grant you rights to be ignorant. Notice how whenever a "comedian" makes a video like these they get blacklisted?
2. A solid 90% of the video is actually just a mound of opinions. The way Person A sees Person B's body is actually just their opinion, unless they are a certified physician that Person B is seeing. True? No.
3. She is ignorant and wrong. And you are one in the same it seems.
She has a point but I stopped halfway because she's so obnoxiously stupid.
It's not nice to "shame" or make fun of fat people but when one sees clearly it's unhealthy already, while we are not required to say it, someone should. But do it in a nice way. Not like how this bitch handled it.

You need to relax. Anyone can say gays can rot in hell but they're still free to express their thoughts whether they're right or wrong.
What I say can be seen as something wrong to your prespective but people have different opinions and to limit your thoughts to one thing is stupid.
I did not backtrack. Fat shaming is suppose to be some kind of a discrimination activity when it's just used as in excuse for obese people to avoid taking proper care of their body and health and that's what she was trying to explain by comparing it to racism and homophobia. What you said is that being fat is like being a homosexual, which is silly.
Of course being a comedian doesn't grant you rights to be ignorant but that's not the case. What she said is factually right; obesity shouldn't be treated as a disability since it's a choice and people should act against it instead of supporting it.

Everyone is allowed to have their opinion, even if it is wrong. But an opinion doesn't need to be spoken, tbh. Learn common courtesy? Learn human decency? Learn how to be respectful?
Actions are louder than words, in fact.
There is a difference between being a bitch in the name of comedy than actually trying to help. She sat in front of a computer screen, tried to be Jenna Marbles, and bitched about fat people.
If she actually had a backbone and actually wanted to help improve peoples lives and motivate them, she could easily volunteer some time. Now I'm sure she's really busy spending her whole day thinking of which group of people she can target next and pretend she cares for, but even an hour of service, or actually even a nice video, could be a step in the right direction. But to say something as obvious as fat shaming doesn't exist or that it "annoys her" is disgusting and to back someone up who says that are just as disgusting to me as well.
Some people are big boned, some people it may run in the family, some people simply don't know better, and some people get actual disorders from it.
And so what if those morbidly obese people don't take care of their bodies? How is that directly affecting you? What are all these obese people doing to directly interfere with your daily life enough for it to piss you off? (Not talking to you directly, but as in a broad sense).
Little of what she said is factually right, though. I could think someone with a little extra arm fat is fat, but that doesn't make them actually fat. It's her perception and her idea.
People are entitled to their opinions, yes.
But I believe people are more entitled to their bodies than another persons opinion.
And so what, people don't view obesity the same way is you. I'm so sorry that the obesity of other people hurts you so much.
This girl and all who support her are doing no positive to this world. They are just making it a little bit worse and more harsh for those who have body dysmorphia, bulimia, anorexia and all the eating disorders that she doesn't give a **** that she could be inflicting on someone.

Who cares if someone will not accept an opinion? The point is that she can say whatever she wants.
I don't care about her personally, I just agree with what she said. Some obese people were actually motivated by that video (looking at twitter), which is great!
The things she said weren't directed at those conditions though, she's talking to people who are obese and victimize theirselves not doing anything about their health.
If you have seen the video you would know she listed some examples of that interferancing with her daily life, but even if it doesn't, that's not the point. The point is that she's expressing her opinion on people who treat obese people as if they're an ethnic group.
Again, if you saw the video you would know that she said this video is directed to obese people and not overweight people.
You can do whatever you want with your body, just like how she can do and say what she wants in a video. The thing is that people try to say what she's saying is wrong when it's actually right.
I see this video as way to motivate obese people to do something about their lifestyle, and I think it being aggresive will make some them think twice about it.
Oh god...when will people understand that people don't get fat only for eating, sometimes it's because of their complicated life and working hours/job, metabolism, even family and other factors. Such an ignorant bitch. Congrats for being "perfect" I guess.

Yeah. But she thinks that if she covers her **** opinion in some glitter that people won't think it is still ****.
She may have helped a handful of people, but everyone has a following. Even Hitler did. So just because a few people support it, doesn't mean it's anything progressive.
You don't understand, nothing she said is right in the same regard as nothing she said was wrong. It is all fabricated from her opinion.
Are you obese? Did this motivate you?
I bet you are skinny actually. Just like this girl. Speaking on an issue you probably know nothing more than seeing a fat person in public and thinking "wow. they are fat. they suck".
But no, i won't say that because that would be me not knowing anything about you and making an assumption. Thus matching the level of ignorance of someone that says "well. stop being fat. It's easy."
I think, if anything, she is helping the "fat community" come to peace that they are fat.
So actually... I'm glad she made this video so I can tell all my overweight friends that they are beautiful and shower them in compliments and make them happy instead of being a total asshole and shoving a skinny society even further down their throats.

I may don't know how it feels like being fat or obese but I would never support someone who is damaging their health and can probably die from that. If the person is obese I would advice them to change their lifestyle and if they didn't, it's their loss.
You're getting things mixed up, though.
The girl is not forcing anyone to be skinny or to stop being obese. She's criticizing people that support obesity and say it is okay. She's criticizing people who always use "fat shaming" as an excuse. She's supporting healthy choices. She's criticizing people who are obese that can do something about it but they're not doing anything. Of course, all of that with funny comments and a controversal aggressive approach.
