Y'all I cannot tell you how excited I am for this album. The fact that JJ&TL did all of the production and Janet wrote it all!? Woo lawd, I can't handle how amazing this is gonna be. I imagine some tragic lyrics might appear, but who doesn't like a cheesy Janet lyric every now and then?

Discipline is cute for a few bops now and again, but mostly just meh. I appreciate it if only because, even if it is kind of basic, I do think it was the gateway album for a lot of the younger Janet stans to listen to her better stuff. I used to listen to it more, but now Damita Jo is the only post-AFY album I listen to even moderately frequently.

Well we have about 4 weeks. Nothing really has leaked except the tracks that have come from "Her Lips" from the project so far.

There wasn't that many people connected to the record so i think it may be days before a leak rather then weeks.

Very much so... she also needed some drama go with it. The best Janet albums have come to life from reflection rather then just love.

I also believe the time from superball has past and her name is kinda in the clear now. Also over the last few years the superball incident is like sesame street compared to the young girls these days.

That's why she works well with JJ/TL and not with other producers as much. They bring something out of her that other producers are just unable to touch.

She has been 'exhonerated' from that tbh a couple of years ago when that Powell dude basiclaly fessed up saying he overreacted. I'm excited for this. This is the Janet I've waited for 10 years.
