Refugee camps/shelters are also waiting for them in Germany...or am I wrong? So what happens when they are finally there? Germany provides a language course for them and finds them well payed jobs?
I don't know. All i know is once they get in, more will be coming.
This is ******** as all the neighboring countries have accepted more than 3 million refugees while Germany ahs accepted only like 100,000 and lol @ Ukraine not being at war.
But where is the line going to be drawn ? These girls are going to keep breaking their heels and twisting their ankles fleeing to Western Europe until there are no people left in the war-torn countries. Migrating is only a temporary solution. Together with the appropriate organisations they need to do something against their corrupt leaders.

they clearly marked the west region which is war-free

These people are not gonna go back to their countries
Germany is expected to have 800,000 migrants to come to their country this year, they have accepted 'only' 100,000 so far, so it's not nearly as much as you claim it to be. Also, Germany made an exception for refugees from Syria, but the problem is a lot of Afghani and Iraqi refugees try to get into Germany now as well and they don't want the economic refugees. Also, they are not only going to Germany, they just want to get to western Europe and it's a problem. I do think we should help them, but they shouldn't be allowed to stay here indefinitely. The immigrants that came here between the 60s and the 80s and their children are causing more and more problems here and want to force western countries to change their cultures and traditions when they are the ones who wanted to come here and thus should change their views/beliefs/traditions to assimilate. Accepting more and more refugees is gonna cause more and more problems, generating more support for right wing parties and sparking more conflicts between different ethnic groups. It's civil wars/ethnic wars waiting to happen
Way to generalise and way to sound completely insensitive & ignorant.
I don't get why they are even going to Germany? What do they expect to happen to them there? Free healthcare, benefits, housing?
Because they are allowed to stay. At least people from Syria. Under EU rules, if any of these refugees make their way into Germany, then Germany is supposed to deport them back to their EU country of first arrival. (And who knows what will happen to them there) But now, with this change, Syrians can stay in Germany to apply for asylum.
How is it more safe for them in a country that is in war and now they are alone with the kids without their men?
Their journey from Syria is dangerous and illegal. There are thousand of people who already died on their way to Europe. So, the men go first and when they made it and got asylum they try to get their women and children to Europe on the legal and not dangerous way.

Okay
But who is protecting those women and children back home where a war is going on if all their men leave for Europe + it can take years till all of them get their lives back on track in Western Europe...what happens to their family in their home countries in the meantime?
---
situation is really complex, there are no easy answers, so of course, it will take a lot of time before decisions will be made in Brussels (which will also make things only worse).
I'm mostly afraid that we won't help people that really need this help (real refugees), but those who had enough money and power to get to Europe.
I'm also terribly afraid of the raise of popularity of far-right and far-left political parties across the Europe- as an answer to the current migration crisis.

Nobody is protecting them. I don't know if that's the best solution but that's how most of them do it. Either way, it's a miserable situation.
Some people in this thread are just
These are human beings, not animals. Their home countries are at war, thousands die everyday, no homes, no food, no money, they put their lives (and their children) at risk by traveling thousands of miles across the sea in tiny boats just to get out of that hell.
Have some empathy, please.

I actually can't sympathise. It's not my fault this is happening, we all have our own issues so what am I meant to do about it. Their country is bad so they want to come to ours - if they could just stop reproducing children into their bad country the numbers would have been halved.
Just highlighting the trash in the thread.
Anyway I'm horrified. It's so sad and sickening and I wish there is a way to help. I'll have to look for some reputable charities to donate too next friday
Does anyone know if more developed middle eastern countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE take Syrian immigrants etc? Why are they so desperate to get to Europe I would have thought somewhere culturally more similar would be the first preferred destination
I've been to Dubai (UAE) countless times and I'm not even joking when I say that the immigrants outnumber the native emiratis in a ratio of 50:1.
I'm not kidding. Dubai is FLOODED with Pakistanis, Afghanis, Syrians, West Africans etc.
So it's not a question of "Why don't they go to the UAE"
Cuz they do.
If you want to help, you can send groceries (rice, canned beans etc) or other goods (toothbrush, soap etc) to a donation point via http://bevasarlas.tesco.hu/en-GB. (Practically a webshop of a Hungarian supemarket)

The truth must be hard. What I said was the truth, it can be seen all over Europe where right wing parties keep gaining more voters + more and more young people with multiple cultural backgrounds identify with the culture they are raised in at home or are troubled and wonder where they belong, they are caught in the middle. Integration of a large group of the immigrants has failed (I'm not pointing any fingers who's to blame for this, I honestly think all involved are). Europe can ignore all this or they can learn from it and act on it
