How many of the people agreeing with her in here aren't Asian? I would really like to know. What a weird thing to say about girls in all of Asia. Seems like she's trying to make general claims about other (Asian) women to make herself stand out. Typical and lazy pop girl tactic. Sadly, reading the comments in here, it is working and some of you are eating it up.

Not commenting on something you have no idea about is definitely a good rule (and a lot of western people have a bad habit of doing it), but I'm South Asian as well; you and I know very well that many people in Asia don't want to comment on anything even if they know it's wrong.

I've worked with Asian women for 6 years and they do all love to read the same blogs for beauty tips, shop at the same places, buy the same MK bags, have the same iPhone cases and use the same skin products. It's weird but they really do want to be the same woman.

oh that is too true. i think its how we were raised and brought up. We are more traditional and have more traditional values instilled in us. the heading is all sorts of wrong. asian girls are basic because of that? not quite. thats far from being basic.
