I read the 2009 VMA's thread (Gaga's Paparazzi performance, Kanye interrupting Taylor, Lil Mama jumping stage, etc) and funnily enough, everyone in the thread at the time said it was terrible. Now in 2015, all y'all do is praise that year up and down and cry about how it's never happening again.
I haven't been fully entertained by the VMA's for 2 hours before. >

I agree with you.. but I think 2009 is more remembered for a lot of the talent and performences, I dont think we've really had a great memorable performance yet
but iconic moments wise, yeah it's the best since 2010/11
