Season 1 and 2 were PERFECT! Season 3 was a total borefest. Guess also because my husband Jon Bernthal died. Should I give Season 4 a shot or is It getting worse. Seriously: S3 was such a big let down for me, I'm pressed...
It might be a little rocky for you at first if your not a fan of the Prison, but clutch your pearls for later episodes.
I think It wasn't the prison. More like than 70% of the episodes were filler. I actually checked ATRL while I had the DVD on the other screen while I was all the time during the first 2 seasons. 6-7 episodes would've been enough the tell the story about the fall of Woodbury, introducing the Governor and Michonne and also showing character development.
Going to get the 4th season tomorrow then. Still pissed Shane is gone (foreal) He was the only eye-candy.
Re-watching the older seasons made me appreciate how far Carol has come such an amazing development of character, going from a character who just washed clothes and cowered in fear to a leader and survivor who has saved the group so many times.
