Yeah, it is about self acceptance, but I feel like it's a very juvenile, basic and surface level approach to exploring that area with the cliche "it's the inner beauty that
really counts" bottom line. The delivery was just cheesy, IMO and it felt more like pandering to girls of a certain age more than anything else. IDK perhaps her perspective is colored by her abnormal situation as a celebrity living in a fishbowl, but I still feel like it's a childish, corny song that sticks out like a sore thumb on that album.
