I see Tove Lo as a more mature Kesha. The album is dark, reflects on her experiences with sex, drugs and love. The premise is simple but it works.

Ceremonials is my fave non-Lord album ever but HBHBHB really hasn't made an impact with me. Only listen to like 2 of its songs

I can't believe IRLY didn't smash, or at least wasn't even a moderate hit. I mean obviously it's repetitive and a rehash of a previous hit but when has that stopped anything ever? The production is great and it's undeniably catchy, plus the hype was there.

it's grown on me since its release. A pleasant listen as an album, even though few songs stand out as worthy of individual listens.

The title track (not really here for that extravagant outro anymore, like the song part of the track is much better), Queen of Peace, Various Storms & Saints, Long & Lost, and Third Eye are all I come back to. And Caught I guess. It comes off as kinda mediocre but there's something about it I really enjoy.
