I'm not sure, but in my opinion they should wait a bit longer, because I noticed a few times recently one song starts out doing the best, but then another song takes over.
For example from Nicki's album at first Feeling Myself did the best, but then Truffle Butter took over.
With Rihanna's album Loveeeeeee Song did the best at first, but then Pour It Up took over after a couple of weeks.
With Drake's recent songs Back To Back did the best at first, but now Hotline Bling has taken over.
So with The Weeknd's album, a different song might end up being the biggest album track in a couple of weeks, so I think they should wait a bit before choosing the single. The Hills hasn't peaked yet, so there's no rush imo.
