Last year the FS trailer premiered on September 8 during The Strain. Who knows maybe this year they will premiere it during The Strain on September 7 again

We'll get some kind of teaser/trailer for sure during the premiere of The Bastard Executioner.

How has Kate Mara only been in one season? She was amazing in Murder House, I'd love to see her come back for something.

She jumped straight into House of Cards afterwards... and then Ryan lost her number I guess.
She's severely underrated.

God, Kate Mara and Mena Suvari are so amazing. Why did Ryan never cast them again?
Here's to hope that Hotel will have amazing actors playing recurring characters. So far we only have Helena Mattson (she's hot but can't say she's good), Richard T. Jackson, Madchen Amick, Naomi Campbell, Mare Winningham and Darren Criss ( )
Christine Estabrook needs to return

She's a movies actress now. All of them are flopping though.

So I'm on episode 5 of FS and it's honestly not that bad. Does is go down hill later on cause??? And yeah there's not really a plot that I can think of, but FS is definitely more enjoyable than MH imo.
Don't @ me about the last part,

I really wish they'd bring back Lizzie Brocheré for a season, she was so good in Asylum

Uhm, Kate Mara is kinda a non-factor. It's not like she makes or breaks Murder House. She's a great actress, but I'm not certain enough to say the later seasons would have been better off with her in them.
If there's one person I'd like to see back for a more prominent role, it'd be Alexandra Breckenridge, and of course Connie.

Freakshow's question is simply: Who gets out alive?
You go into the season knowing their way of life is no longer sustainable. Jimmy says so in the first episode. Elsa spends the entire season planning what she's going to do after the show inevitably closes down. Characters constantly lament how they would leave if there was anywhere to go, and how the world of carnie folk is shrinking.
The point of exploitative horror is that you know the majority of the characters are doomed to die, and the survivors of the aftermath are scattered few.
Anyway it doesn't matter because every season is chock-full of half-dropped storylines, so I don't understand how this even qualifies in ranking.

I haven't, because I don't make that comparison much; I just say that Freak Show lacked a central plot because it's true.
Every season has plots and subplots and few-episode arcs, but Murder House, Asylum and Coven had those arcs all connected through their central theme. Sure things seem scattered, but they had good reason for existing.
Freak Show was not like that; there was no central theme or plot that held it all together, it was just an ongoing series of events that you could see in any corny soap opera.

Mmm I think their point is that people would like to have seen her in more seasons though. I mean I don't think she made Murder House either, but she was damn good.

While bedbugs might be the biggest concern for most real-life travelers, AHS’ Hotel Cortez unleashes a whole slew of far more frightening vacation terrors. Built in 1930 by the rich and charming but deeply psychotic James March (Evan Peters), the beautiful art-deco hotel is, in actuality, a labyrinthine structure built to hide March’s murderous activities (think dead ends, secret rooms, endless shafts).
In present day, though, the Cortez is acquired by Gaga’s Countess, a glamorous socialite who attends art openings and fashion shows and maintains her looks not from a steady diet of kale but from imbibing human blood. Murphy doesn’t like to call it vampirism. “I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus,’ ” Murphy says of her affliction. “It’s really a form of hemophilia, in a way.” The Countess is also insatiable when it comes to love and sex, which sets up a macabre love triangle between her, the similarly blood-hungry Donovan (Matt Bomer) and the newly turned male model Tristan (Finn Wittrock).
Also gravitating around the world of the Cortez are Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett), an actress/former lover of The Countess’ seeking revenge; Iris (Kathy Bates), Donovan’s mother and the front desk clerk; Liz Taylor (Denis O’Hare), a cross-dresser nicknamed by The Countess; Hypodermic Sally (Sarah Paulson), a junkie and friend of The Countess; Detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley), a cop investigating a murderer named the Ten Commandments Killer; and The Addiction Demon, a creature in the vein of Rubberman or Bloodyface, who has no eyes or mouth but does wield a nasty, conical drillbit *****.
