Was just wondering what kind of ethics govern the way in which the moderators perform this duties.

Are we governed by Kantian ethics, whereby posts are warned once they break the rules regardless of context. Or is it Utilitarian where posts are warned based on the context. Could a member avoid points if they are responding to the blatantly bigoted post? Also is this universal amongst the moderators, or is each given the freedom to apply their own?

I was told that it's not warnable (talking of in syg) but it's offensive content so like racist crap it should be banned too imo as LGBT! I think that's disgusting to allow anywhere on this site. Particularly since it's used in Gaga's name and it's widely known her fanbase is almost exclusively gays - it should be obvious it's an attempt to offend a gay fan of hers (and attacking fans isn't allowed either).
