nnmnn @ "album for fans", what does that even mean? Aren't all albums for the fans? Dead at them releasing subpar material for their fans.
And coincidentally, Bruce's last album was a collection of B-sides and covers, a similar "not really a proper studio album" release, and it sold over 100k first week.
Their studio albums before that, What About Now and Wrecking Ball, respectively, sold 1.5m and 1.8m.

ACTUALLY, What About Now doesn't even appear to have sold 1m copies WW, it did not appear on Mediatraffic's 2013 Year-End list despite being released in March. The wiki must have lied.
