Answer them, white people

Okay, I'll give it a shot.
1) Is the "let's split up" trope still used in horror nowadays? IDK, I haven't seen a newly released horror film in forever.
2) Actually, I would have loved to see Donald Glover play Spider-Man.
3) Who?
4) If you're asking about my personal preference, I don't see it that way at all. But if you're talking about general societal trends, that's a pretty complicated question that involves years of colonialism, white-normative standards of beauty, and the exoticization of African-American features in Western society.
5) Um, no, that's stupid. I've seen that word used years before the twerk-tastrophe of 2013.
6) I already taught myself, thank you very much.
7) From an optimistic perspective, I'd say that the word "discovery" in that context could mean personal discovery. If I said that I "discovered" Orphan Black and now I'm hooked on the show, it doesn't mean that the show didn't already have lots of fans.
8) Eurocentric standards of beauty in Western culture.
9) I assume this is meant in jest, so I won't justify it with a serious answer.
10) Again, this one is complicated. I'm no expert on race relations so I won't pretend I have a definite answer, but it all has to do with racial stereotypes, confirmation biases, and "othering."
11) It doesn't really. Hell, I probably wouldn't be answering these questions if it did.
12) I do not.
13) Because humans are hard wired to be more comfortable around people who look like themselves. Same reason why I take notice when I'm the only English speaker in a group, but I wouldn't take notice if there were no Spanish speakers in my group.
14) It's...not? But I think when people say that they "can't see color," what they mean is that they only judge people based on the content of their character, which is good, as long as they're not actively erasing others' cultural identities (which, sadly, is sometimes the case).
15) I don't.
16) I don't.
17) I don't.
18) This is obviously a loaded question, so I'm just going to skip it.
19) IDK what this even has to do with race, but my parents are pretty chill and they're OK with me swearing in their presence.
20) I don't have a dog.
21) Because people from different cultures are used to using different vowel and consonant sounds? It's the same reason why new German speakers may have trouble pronouncing the ü sound.
22) This is such a ****ing stupid strawman that I'm not even going to give an answer.
23) It's not. I have tons of privilege, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I have white privilege, straight privilege, cis privilege, middle class privilege, and the privilege to have been born in a first world country.
24) It's alright, I guess.
