Well, BTD had 37 reviews and Paradise had 9 reviews & there's a small difference between the records ( BTD 62 ; P 64) so the Metascore is irrelevant in terms of music quality
I think she made it pretty aparent with UV that the BTD type of songs ain't coming back. HM is different than UV, but also pretty far away from BTD.
Just enjoy what you hear or don't. There is so much more music out there. She clearly doesn't listen to her fans and pleases herself.
This! She clearly wouldn't have to move a finger her whole life with what she's got, and she's obviously not overly happy with releasing music/doing promo/fulfilling expectations etc (basically what come with being in the industry), so you people shouldn't risk pushing her somewhere you want her. She records music because she wants to, and she will record the music that she likes. We should feel lucky for the fact that she shares some of it with us. because from how we know her, she may decide any day to just keep it to herself.
Both in the 60's plus you know BTD didnt deserve its score, they trashed her cause of her SNL fiasco, the US based publications.
Eh, BTD had a lot of filler. I'm just glad they got UV right
It'll be interesting how the critics take Honeymoon. It seems like the released tracks have gotten really good critical reception but it's clear that she's taking a less serious direction than UV.

She's taking a less autobiographical direction this time around, she said she went too far with UV, and she's not that happy about it anymore (even tho it was a critic loved album)
The songs still seem pretty personal. Or at least relatively personal, you know?
I'm so hyped for MTWBT, GKIT, Freak, and Salvatore.
They're all so long, and like someone else said, i hope that's not because every song is sung long and drawn out. I'd like some songs that are just longer in general. And I really hope not every song is like HM and TLY. I do really like them, they're beautiful, but they're also really similar and if more than a few songs are like that, then idk :/ the album needs some tempo, from what I'm hearing. Tempo and percussion.
I actually really like the cover. It's weird and different (oh Lana), but it's Unique. I think the text on the buss is a little jarring, but hey. I think she has a reason for everything she does, which is exactly why I don't blame Rick for my few qualms with the production. If she didn't like something about it, she would say something. I think everything we've heard has been either her idea or something she loves and wants to be doing
