The whole 'Esther' era (or however you call it) might not be relatable to her fans but at least she was doing really well chart wise and sales wise everywhere (besides US of course)... And she got public on her side because that was the time when her humanitarian work was in press... she got a lot of respect and even though it was too safe look I don't know if she could manage hits from 2000 to 2008 if she would be sexual and overly exposed..

The songs are great but you can hear that they spend more time on Erotica, Deeper and Deeper etc, than on them.

The only thing I don't like about Erotica is the unnecessary longness of some songs, that obligates you to be really in the mood to enjoy the album.

There are some songs I use more than others, but I enjoy all of them except Illuminati.
