It's one of the most famous pieces of art, I didn't think I had to. But let me go edit just in case.

I know it's probably hard to believe since Gaga's team has never done anything like this but it's what they're doing. They're clearly aiming for that Oscar nomination.
Edit: This is the kind of subliminal/background pushing Beyonce's team always does.

They're likely removing versions of the song because it's not released and so this damages any launch they may want to give it (possibly with the MV) and because (don't @ me for this) the song seems unfinished up until the second verse begins. Maybe it's just the quality, but I predict the official version will sound differently in the first chorus.

Till It Happens To You will sell 8.5 million copies WW, win 3 Grammy's (including ROTY and SOTY), an Oscar and will be the cure to Chronic Unemotional Disease. Scientists also embarked upon a research to test its curative effects on cancer, schizophrenia, alopecia, LYME's diseases, OCD, bulimia, narcolepsy and more.

You really think so? I'm not so sure. Gaga was the one that wanted the song released, her team actually weren't so keen for some reason.

Actually, this version is more polished than the one that was played during the showings of The Hunting Ground that we heard at the start of this year. She added/re-recorded backing vocals and such. You can hear subtle differences in some parts actually, to my ears anyway.

It's completely redone compared to the credits version in THG. The opening you tell me it gets better sounds like it may have been the piano version used mid-film (I haven't seen it and can't remember that small clip too well) which is the intended first verse, but during the first chorus it sounds a little forced, like the instrumental isn't fitting with her vocals as if they were cut and pasted in. Again, this isn't nearly top quality which may be the issue, but I think the first chorus will sound different in the official release.

Actually the first verse and chorus are not the same as the piano version during the film, they are completely different. I also think the production and vocals are jarring at times and I don't think it's mastered but don't quote me on that.
It definitely sounds better in 320kbps so I hope it gets released.

I didn't mean vocal-for-vocal, I meant are those lyrics (verse 1) the piano version from the movie? I only listened to that clip the day it leaked because we had the LQ of the full song so I only snatched that.
The first chorus has the juxtaposed clashing the most IMO. I can't imagine the final release would leave it that way. I presume at this point the MV is ready to go since there's a still released so I hope they hurry up and just put it out.

Gaga wants to put it out, so it should be out soon.
It doesn't sound so bad in proper HQ but I think it's just something we'll have to get used to. Now it's leaked, she'll probably want it out quickly, I just hope her team listen to what her and Diane want. And yeah, I'm pretty sure the first verse lyrics are from the piano version. Sorry to come across condescending, haha.

The Venus single cover aesthetic was something else. The cosmo 70s cheap horror movie style was so good.

I want the rest of that Klein shoot in the bathroom too. That really struck the right chord, whereas the candid Venus looks were the biggest mess ever.

Yeah, maybe. The only good part is the pre-chorus 'I can't help the way I'm feeling' etc
Everything else is garbage.

I just think that the song suffered from the "3 songs in one" concept she tried to pull off with the verses+bridge, chorus and chorus2, I think if the whole song was made in the style of the verses and bridge, it wouldn't been a commercial one (Venus suffered from the "this needs to be the next single, so it needs a hit chorus" rush), but it would have been a better song.

I find it truly hilarious that literally everyone and their mother was praising their god that she released "the next Bad Romance", "her best song yet", etc. in this thread when Venus came out and now, welp.
ATRL ha ever fickle taste.
