E•MO•TION isn't teen pop and is 80s influenced. Britney has never done an 80s influenced record. Her first two albums are very 90s/early 2000s, but she has never really done anything 80s influenced. Plus we know that she loves
1989, and although I like that album as well, I'd rather her do an actual 80s inspired album like
E•MO•TION and not a watered-down interpretation like Taylor's
1989.
