If I could restart my college career I would of stayed home and gone to community college till I was comfortable with who I was. I hadn't accepted my sexuality when I went to University, and I was so scared of being hated for being gay I refused to interact with my roommates or very many class mates. I would spend all my time in class, my room or my friends room. It was rough.

(it didn't help that the school I choose had a large population of Mormons.)

there was this girl who woudn't tell me her last name in 2nd grade because she thought i'd make fun of it. she finally told me (it was mcdonald) and i started laughing at her and she then got her sister in 6th grade to curse me out.

speaking of this, i'm going back to college in two days and i'm nervous about whether i'll be in a good living situation or not this year. i really hated my suitemates last year so i hope i'll get better ones this year that don't play terrible country music at full blast at 1 in the morning

I worked with people as young as 16 before and it didn't bother me so I don't think it would actually be that weird for me

My freshmen year all my suitemates put all their mattresses in the living room and would sleep out there all day. I had to step over them or climb over the couch and carefully open the door so I didn't wake them.

Mess. I'm glad I've only had roommates during my senior year, while living abroad. I initially thought that I would hate them, but we became super tight and keep in touch to this day.
