That thread nearly made lose my cool. There's a couple of individuals in there who enter every U.S. related thread to stir **** and add two worthless trolling pennies to the conversation.

The fact that people are ignorant enough to ignore the future that's ahead of us (racial, ethnic, and gender-based tensions are only mounting) and that they would even consider a clown like Trump to run our country is frightening. I'd describe myself as a Conservative, mainly because over here they supported gay marriage (kinda) and to try and repeal gay rights would be political suicide. If they were against it then probably not.

Simply put, Labour here can't run the country, but the Conservatives can.

Right now Trump is blaming everything that's wrong with the U.S. on "illegal" immigrants. But let's be real. Racist and ignorant people see every Latino as the same, regardless of what color passport they hold. The demonizing of African Americans is also a constant issue that's NEVER going to get better.

When any gay individual (of whatever race or ethnicity) fails to see that they are not immune to hatred just because "the times have changed" or because they feel that they can hide who they are, they are simply shooting themselves in the foot.
