Why is there so much foolishness going on in here that I've never seen before this is not her last scene, she just started shooting 8 episodes worth of material, be reasonable.
Anyways, I have a feeling that this stuff is for the trailer. I don't have any evidence as to why I feel this way, I just have a feeling.
But I hate the music at the beginning and don't want to be in the trailer. Hopefully they'll find an amazing song for the trailer like Carousel for FS
It could just be a classical jazz track used to introduce her character as the glamourous Elizabeth Cortez, which then decays into something more creepy and dark to introduce the rest of the cast. I could imagine the trailer starting off with The Countess walking into the hotel and then the camera quick pans forward to the front desk to show Kathy bates character, then quick pans across different rooms/parts of the hotel (such as the lounge/bar for Liz Taylor) to introduce the rest of the cast.
Its not for the trailer, at least not the "portrait" trailer like last years which featured carousel. Those are filmed by a different production company then AHS, and the DOP Michael Goi was on set last night, so it wasn't for that.
The music was prob just her entrance into the ballroom, maybe it's the debut of her character in the premiere?
Just because this may be the last scene that she shot (which I doubt) doesn't necessarily mean it would be her last/ final scene in the actual series, so this discussion won't lead anywhere.

Well she's in it, so at some point people are either going to have to get over it, or stop watching (I still don't see this as "her" story though)

They apparently film more throughout the year too, so she's definitely not done with all of her scenes , and since she's in 8 episodes I doubt she dies super early.
January episodes are filmed in December, right? I hope Gaga's schedule will allow her to shoot until December. I want Elizabeth to be in the season finale
