School was always a mess with this. I distinctly remember certain classes where two or even three students couldn't have desks while at the same time you've got classes with about 14 students.

They hired new math, science, and english teachers this year. Every subject but history.

So every teacher now has a manageable schedule but me.

Are you in the U.K.? If so, don't fret too much. First year is just there to bring everyone up to the same level/standard for second year and to give you an opportunity to dip your feet in the water. Besides, at most universities, it doesn't contribute toward your degree classification.
