i don't understand how people can dump their favorite artist if they have 1 unsuccessful era. people care about the charts waaaay to much. I like keeping up with them but getting dramatic because a single didn't go top 10 is a bit over the top.
coming for someone else's fave when they criticize someone is just low hanging fruit tbh. just because someone stans Britney doesn't mean their opinion about someone else's vocals are invalid like sis come on

When these people like Britney are in the spotlight they will be dragged for being bad parents or being ignorant or doing stupid things. That's just the nature of the beast. If these artists didn't have thick skin to handle it they wouldn't be where they are. If they are breaking down then expect them to flop. That's nothing new. The fans need to grow thicker skin and maybe stop passing judgement on others for doing stupid things if they don't want their faves dragged and judged for doing stupid things.
4 is a crappy album.
it's virtually unlistenable save for one or two songs. I'm actually shocked it sold as much as it did.
If people don't like the music or direction their fave is going, then they should move along TBQH.
Actually it depends. If a person thinks Britney/Taylor etc is a great vocalist then clearly there is something wrong with their opinion. You can't take their opinions seriously on the subject of vocal quality. You can like/stan for an artist and admit they aren't a great vocalist. Being a great vocalist isn't a prerequisite to making great music. It helps but that's it.
Delusionally trying to prescribe talents to your fave that doesn't exist means you aren't in touch with reality. You won't hear me saying Janet Jackson and Madonna are great vocalists even though they are among my faves because it's ridiculous. They aren't great vocalists. They are just singers who happen to make music that I like and connect with.
