Taylor is far from even outpeaking Katy & Rihanna outside of United States / Canada / Australia. Her 1989 singles went 5-9-76-29 respectively in Germany, 2-4-21-4 in the UK and 6-27-85-14 in France. She's been pretty much irrelevant before 1989 and now she's having moderate success in Europe. She's not even close to Lady Gaga level of success who was slaying left and right in Europe and was spitting out 4 #1 singles within a year. Lady Gaga was virtually omnipresent in 2009-10 and no pop girl has come close to her dominance ever since. So lets not pretend that Taylor is relevant WW / in Europe when there are 10 other pop girls more successful than her.

2. It was a re-release, not an EP/other album.

Just stop. If that were true for the majority of its sales, we would have separate sales stats. But we don't (aside from US/Canada EP sales) because it scanned as the same album as The Fame. Ergo, once The Fame Monster dropped, any sale of The Fame or The Fame Monster counted as the same release.
