But certain people also don't think that record labels send new music in advance to radio stations to get a test of the new material.

I mean if you really think about, everyone uses the radio (well I don't at least), so it'll be like a bomb and this'll drop on everyone bc they'll least expect it, so not only will it be us tuning in but the audience outside Us Will hear it too.

Radio already knows its coming. Carrie doesn't need the lead up promo for a lead single. Radio will spin it like crazy. They have been after new music from Carrie for awhile.

The problem is that some fans think Carrie needs promo like the newbies when she is the one in demand. I suspect we will get a slew of info after 8/20 that will create plenty of buzz. Look just how much attention she gets over a simple tweet. That should tell them enough

The song itself doesn't even make that distinction, in fact it implies that both of them had a hand in it, maybe not physically but they both conspired to do it. Do they not have reading comprehension skills or what?

Ding ding ding.

The fanbase was contradicting itself big time when released. Some people were saying the music video didn't follow the lyrics word for word .. but those same people also were made that the music video did follow the overall lyrics.

It was such a messy situation and I was the one dragged for it.
