Well obviously it's not for everyone. But it's his voice that saves many of the bland songs on ITLH. I think his tone is magical.
It all comes down to taste I guess and what sounds nice on our ears. Sam's tone is quite piercing and sharp for me. The opposite of Tiziano's rich, hug-like timbre.
