Wait, I only just moved to England in 2001.
So weird that there are people who have been on here for nearly all my life.

Honestly, looking around the site, not a ton's changed. There was website drama from time to time -- ATRL was shut down for awhile, if memory serves correctly, and there was a mass transfusion of users to a crappy alternative that didn't last long. AIM chats were the solace, the one constant through it all. I barely ever remember posting anything on the actual ATRL boards because the people who were online a lot were just in chat and shooting the breeze. Lots of memories from those AIM chats.
If you want to look something up, google "SeventhDemon0," it was my (extremely cheesy) AIM username and there are some copy-pasted chat logs from those days that are on the backup board that is still around to this day.
I graduated high school in 2004 and by that time was pretty far out of the ATRL scene, so my memory gets even hazier then. But **** was crazy in the AIM chats, believe that. Lots of online relationships, breakups, and a bunch of cringeworthy stuff in-between.

There's an alarming amount of members here who aren't familiar with Kylie's albums, so I feel like the actual poll (assuming you included one) would quickly teeter in favour of Madonna due to her albums being more universally recognized/heard. However, in terms of discussion, I don't think it would cause any huge stan war. Madonna fans don't seem to get very ruthless towards Kylie outside of SYG, and Kylie's Lovers seem generally tame, anyway. That thread could lead into some really good discussion, I think.
Rather then comparing their albums in chronological order, it would be neat to compare their albums with similar sounds (rnb vs rnb, disco vs. disco etc.) - but that's something we/the fans could just do on our own in the thread!

Like, it would be so cute, and the albums match up pretty well.
Kylie vs. Madonna
Enjoy Yourself vs. Like a Virgin
Rhythm of Love vs. True Blue (really difficult)
Let's Get To It vs. Like a Prayer
Kylie Minogue vs. Erotica
Impossible Princess vs. Bedtime Stories ( )
Light Years vs. Ray of Light (the obvious Madonna victory lol)
Fever vs. Music
Body Language vs. American Life
X vs. Hard Candy (tragedies abound )
Aphrodite vs. MDNA
Kylie + Garibay vs. Rebel Heart ( )

You could always check here.
My (rock band) favs from the 90s were probably Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day.

AIM was literally my childhood
I would be on it, like, all the time. For years and years and years. From age 8 to, like, 16
I would go in all the sketchy chat rooms and pretend to be a teenager

The Homecoming Tour was so brave of her, to be honest.

At first I disliked it because I didn't think it went well with her vocals, but I love the production and I kinda like it now, it's one of those consistent pummeling songs which end up like my favourites. Do we know when Kylie + Garibay should be? I've been a bit out of the loop as of late.
I couldn't have done it, she did incredibly.

I'm actually psyched for Eurovision, this year was the first time I completely followed it (analysing songs, watching semi-finals, engaging with EV blogs) and I couldn't even watch the final because I was in America.
Mans Zelmerlöw was really good though, he can join the trinity of River Viiperi and Nick Robinson.

Like, the Mariah Carey movie? Because yeah, there was a huge Mariah stan who made sure to always tell us in AIM chat when he was listening to Heartbreaker or Through the Rain.
