I liked the demo version of Messiah... Album one seems quiet if that makes sense (especially ending)...and Wash All Over Me too... bad mastering I guess
For those of us who were either not around or in diapers during her first peak, do you think you would still have stanned back then?
I'm pretty sure I would have stanned Paula Abdul and Grace Jones until Madge would have caught my interest with True Blue and came for my wig with Like A Prayer. What's interesting is that Katy seems to be heading down the same path with two blasé albums and a moderately interesting recent one, maybe ha Like A Prayer is around the corner?
Honestly-its nothing special and the songs cant be listened more than 10 times.I got bored of it really fast.It has amazing songs but the whole atmosphere is weird and some of the songs were just placed there without any point.Not even close to COADF
The videos are better than the last eras tho.Is the era over ?
This is my most played Madonna album (+200 times) and there is no sign of it getting boring!

I just want to drop in to say that I wish I was born in 1967, so that I could stan Madonna and Cyndi through the mid 80's.

Yeah, I would have. I'd be voguing no matter my age at that time (I wasn't born til 93 though ). I'd probably have stanned Madonna, Whitney, and Dolly Parton... and Shania once she debuted.
