My biggest and only pet peeve about this song is that she should have released it earlier. Releasing this song in the middle of summer just shows they didn't expect this song to have longevity. I agree with everyone else. We either get a new song by VMA's (doubt it tho) or she does a mashup. And she better NOT put igglo Australia touch her album

And it's not that they didn't expect the song to have longevity, honestly I think they planned this whole CFTS thing like in June and they rushed everything (radio interviews, pool parties) because they thought they could get a 'quick hit' but Demi is not that big of an artist and her should've known better than releasing it in July.

This is obviously her team's mistake.

Well they kinda already explained what was going on. They said the single wasn't originally supposed to be CFTS but they asked themselves if they could release it any other time than this summer and the iHeart Radio people said no so they released CFTS, which meant they basically had to rush release it.

I honestly think the Max Martin/Dr Luke song(s) were recorded fairly recently, especially considering it hasn't even been long when they made the announcement of her record label changes

I don't see her breaking into the top 20 of any of these radio formats. Songs that are sitting at #20 on these formats have a total audience impressions of 1M or less, with daily updates of ≈+0.050M. So even if she theoretically ever gets any airplay on these formats, it really won't be of any prominent effect.
