Before that I was hooked on Infinity, it's just so relatable and singable (minus the whistle note). I been here for Mariah since Emancipation. I think she (and Ciara) was the artists I looked up the most during 2004-2007.

Favorite Album is Emancipation. My Mariah's trinity is Don't Forget About Us, Without You, and Vision of Love.
And I sing along to least one of these almost daily.

I recently saw Mariah's interview with Charlie Rose from the day Rainbow was released. It's on Amazon and you have to pay for it ($1 or something) but it's my favorite of hers. It's about an hour long and it touches upon all aspects of her career and personal life. She's really open in it. Lambs should check it out, it's great. (Make sure you get the full 1999 episode, not the 2001 rerun where they edited it by half it's length to fit in another interview with Alanis M. )

Thank you. I think this interview was interesting to watch as the interview asked good questions. And I liked her answers, too, even though you can hardly say you are "not political" and then have dinner with Netanyahu

Ill share my mariah story... i hope to hear yours

I started loving mariah late 1997 when i happen to catch the butterfly vid at mtv... i was stunned by the runs (i didnt know what it was called back then)... i was a wee lad stanning for the spicegirls back then... i sat throught giving mtv ratings for the under 12 demographic waiting to hear the song again... they replayed it at night so had to watch so many boyband vids... anyways the next weekend i asked my mom to buy me the album and she did... i played the album and my fave was breakdown followed by honey ... my mom said she liked her song hero... my moms fave was my all in the cd she hated the rappers though... she may have said something about honey being inappropriate for kids but i didnt understand at the time... i loved the album so much that i started looking her up in tower records... i then bought musicbox and daydream,,, i was surprised that those albums contained so many tracks i love but listened to only in passing such as fantasy. dreamlover, always be my baby one sweetday etc.... anyways my love for mariah stood the test of time and i made my mom watch glitter with me in the cinema...
